Venture Out Maps Corp. is a new outdoor mapping company located in Middletown, NY.
Unlike many other mapping companies in the Northeast, we specialize in outdoor recreational maps. As most maps currently on the market specialize in road travel or one specific outdoor activity such as hiking or fishing, our topographical maps show information for a wide variety of outdoor activities.
As outdoor enthusiasts who love to hike, snowshoe, camp, swim, and fish; we thoroughly enjoy creating outdoor recreational maps in which we can share with fellow individuals who love the great outdoors. As hiking is one my favorite activites, we have hiked and snowshoed the majority of the trails in the Catskill Region. If you are an avid hiker, you may have seen us...I would have been the one in front, beating my husband up the steep slopes! Yet, as he is a fisherman with a passion for fly fishing he gets his revenge by taking me deep into the middle of the woods to fish from the best ponds and streams where I sit and read a book with a mosquito net over my head! I seem to attract them like bees to honey!
